The Ermita de Santa Bárbara is located at the geographical center of the farmland north of the Barranco del Carraixet, serving as a place of worship for the local residents.

As stated on the ceramic panel next to the building, the neighbors, who have always been closely linked to this hermitage, contributed to its restoration in 1879 and continue to organize festivities in honor of their patron saint through religious confraternities.

This small, simply designed building is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the protector against sudden death and lightning during storms. Her devotion is widespread in Valencia, and there is even a local saying that goes, "We remember Saint Barbara when it thunders."
