The Port Saplaya Festival is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patron saint of sailors, and takes place in the second or third week of July, right after Alboraya’s Main Festivities.
ACTIVITIES:
The celebrations are held in the northern part of the residential area, particularly around Plaza de la Señoría, the northern promenade, and the southern beach.
Children's activities play a major role, with inflatable attractions and games, while the evenings feature concerts or theatrical performances. One of the highlights of the festival is the giant communal paella, bringing neighbors together before dancing continues with a mobile disco. The religious aspect of the festival includes a maritime procession in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, following a mass dedicated to her. The festivities usually conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the sea.
