The Els Peixets Festival takes place on Pentecost Monday and is a deeply rooted tradition in Alboraya, celebrated at the Ermita de Els Peixets (Hermitage of The Little Fish).

The Miracle of Els Peixets is an event that has undeniably shaped part of Alboraya’s identity. In fact, the three fish on the town’s coat of arms represent this miracle, while Almàssera’s coat of arms features two. The miracle is also frequently referenced in street names, businesses, and landmarks in both municipalities.

Many researchers and artists have studied and depicted this event through publications, paintings, sculptures, and various artistic representations.
