Learning to Enjoy the Ride

The advantage of being a restless soul? Any plan can turn into an adventure Learning to Enjoy the Ride The downside? Learning to Enjoy the Ride. When there are too many great options Learning to Enjoy the Ride, choosing becomes overwhelming.

That’s exactly what happened when I got to Patacona Beach: "Come on, pick an activity—there are so many!" There were people surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking… and I had to choose just one. On top of that, I had to agree with my brother—no easy task.

To make matters worse, we knew that over at another Alboraya beach, you could also go on boat trips… more choices, more dilemmas.

In the end, we decided one water experience wasn’t going to be enough for this trip. So, we ended up trying to negotiate with our parents. It didn’t take long to find a plan that made everyone happy: my brother and I went paddleboarding at Patacona, and the next day, we all took a boat ride together in Port Saplaya.

It already sounds like a happy ending, but the best part came later:

From that moment on, we’ve returned to Alboraya every year, and the boat ride has become a tradition. Over the years, my brother and I have tried every water sport Alboraya has to offer, so I can now proudly say—I’m a fully satisfied restless soul.
