Feast of the Immaculate Conception
Alboraya, as a traditionally Christian town, holds the Feast of the Immaculate Conception as one of the most significant days in its liturgical calendar. In the past, this was a major celebration throughout the town, but over time, it has been reduced to a solemn mass on December 8th, attended by a large congregation of faithful who accompany the “clavariesas”, the women responsible each year for organizing and celebrating the festivity.
