The Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Alboraya is one of the first celebrations of the annual cycle, taking place on November 27th. Organized by the residents of Calle Milagrosa, it is a simple yet heartfelt festivity, where a relaxed and friendly atmosphere prevails among participants. The program is modest, consisting of a pasacalle (a small parade) on the day of the celebration and a solemn Eucharist in honor of this Marian devotion. The festivities conclude with a fireworks display and a community dinner among the neighbors of this historic street.
This feast is celebrated throughout Spain in honor of the Miraculous Medal, but in Alboraya, it holds particular significance, as it was introduced to the town by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, who founded a school in the town.
