The Fallas Festivities take place in Alboraya every March. While the main events are concentrated in this month, Fallas commissions remain active year-round, organizing various activities within the local casales falleros (Fallas community centers).

The Local Fallas Board, together with the Alboraya Town Hall, awards prizes to the different Fallas commissions.
The most prestigious Fallas awards include:
- Three main prizes for both large and children’s Fallas monuments - Two Ninot Indultat awards (one for large and one for children’s ninots – the figures saved from the flames) - Two honorary awardsAdditionally, five special mentions are given to outstanding children’s Fallas, along with a special recognition for gender equality in both large and children’s Fallas monuments.
Beyond these official events, the Saint Joseph’s Festival is complemented by various activities within each casal fallero, such as exhibitions, communal dinners, birthday celebrations, tributes, and more.
