Dia de l´Orxata (Horchata Day)
As part of the patron saint festivities in early July, Alboraya has been celebrating Dia de l'Orxata (Horchata Day) for over 40 years. This historic event is centered around the large-scale distribution of horchata and fartons by the Club de Producto Alboraya Artesanos de la Horchata (Alboraya Horchata Artisans Product Club). Organized by Alboraya Tourism, with the collaboration of the Gremio de Horchateros Artesanos de Alboraya (Alboraya Artisanal Horchata Makers Guild), the day is filled with activities that celebrate this famous artisanal drink. The program also includes a variety of free tourism experiences related to horchata, all provided by the Alboraya City Council to make this special day even more memorable.
